Connect Word

Drop letters into columns and make dictionary nouns across, down or diagonal. Timer runs until the grid fills.

How to play

Choose a language and difficulty. Easy is a 4×4 grid with 4-letter nouns, Medium 5×5 with 5-letter nouns, Hard 6×6 with 6-letter nouns.

A next letter is shown above the board. Tap a column (or press keys 1–n) to drop it. The letter falls to the lowest empty cell in that column, like a simple Connect game.

Whenever a full-length word appears in a straight line — across, down or diagonal, forwards or backwards — and that word is in the dictionary list, you score 1 point. Found words are listed beside the board.

The timer runs until the grid is completely full. Ranking is by score, then by faster time. Sign in to save one record per Easy, Medium and Hard.
